Sister Julie
I have a best friend named Julie. She is my aunt’s daughter. She is 3 years old younger. As her older sister, I feel really proud of her. We have many things in common, even though our voices can make our family members confused.
Julie is my aunt’s daughter. We have almost grown up together, because of this reason we always have the same idea. Julie is a brave girl. My aunt got divorced when Julie was 7 years old. I understand that kind of feeling, you will feel like a looser. Maybe she felt little bit extremely unsafe, she became dominate and tried to control everything to protect herself. People might think of that she is an outgoing girl, but they never know Julie just don’t want people knowing that she feels helpless.
Once apart a time, we ate New Year dinner outside. It was the first family dinner after my aunt got divorced. After we finished eating, Julie and I went outside and played with other kids. During we played games, one of the kids argued with my sister Julie for the rules of the games. They almost got fighting, and suddenly the kid said “you are such a poor girl, your parents just leave you away, and they don’t love you as my parents are”. Julie shut up and I saw tears were full of her eyes. The girl realized she made a mistake and ran away very soon. Julie still stands there like a zombie. I had no idea what to do at that time. I knew she needs some space to calmed down, so I just stand beside Julie quiet. Cupule minutes later, she said she was fine, and went back to the restaurant. I was thinking about what we say after her mom found out the thing happened before. However, I thought too much. Julie looked like nothing happened, she just back to her normal face. After we went back home I asked her to make sure that she was ok, but I found out she was fine at all. I was confused a lot. How a 7 year old girl can stand the gossip brave like Julie.
It is hard to face those troubles. On the other hand, it is also makes Julie grows up faster in some ways. I do hope that she can be brave like this forever. I do hope that she can find a person that can build a sweet family with her because she owns that kind of love. She had lost it when she was young.
