This Tuesday, I went to San Diego for a concert. The concert was one one of my favourite singer’s whose name is Katy Perry. The concert ticket was my mother’s birthday gift. It was the best birthday present I have ever had. When I first learnt that my mother bought us concert tickets I was very surprised and happy! She called me and my cousin, and said come here I have to talk to you. She was very serious so I thought she will tell us bad news. I was anxious about it because I really didn’t know what she was going to say. First she said, I bought a birthday gift for you! Then she walk toward to her room and took something. We were still wondering what she bought for us. When she came into the living room she was carrying two envelopes. I opened it and I screamed “Is it a concert ticket?” My mum nodded her head and I hugged her. I was amazed and still couldn’t believe we had Katy Perry’s concert tickets!
When the concert day came, my cousin felt a little bit sick but after few hours she became better. We were very excited to go. My mother’s friend took us from home. The way took one and half hour. It was early to go and the doors weren’t opened so we went to McDonald’s to have a dinner. Then we returned to stadium and there were a lot people. Some of them were buying some Katy Perry t-shirts, some of them were buying foods and beverages such as popcorns, beers and cotton candies. Some people had wigs or interesting clothes. Before Katy Perry came to stage, some warm-up bands sang. When she first came, everyone started to clap their hands. There was a woman –she was at least 40 years old- sitting behind us. She knew almost all songs that Katy Perry sang!
I took a lot of photos but they are not very clear because of the lights. She was amazing and her show was brilliant! I am really pleased that we have been in that concert! It became a fabulous experience for us!
