Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar . Fasting of Ramadan is the fourth pillar of Islam . All Adult must fast between dawn and sunset . It helps Muslim to remember Allah . At the end of Ramadan Muslims celebrate Eid Al-Fitr.
According to the Islamic calendar, Ramadan is the 9th Islamic month, in which all Muslims fasts for 29 or 30 days. Sawm is the Arabic word for fasting, particularly in the month of Ramadan and it means to refrain from food and drinks from dawn to sunset. This is one of the five pillars of Islam, and should be done by all Muslims.
Fasting in the month of Ramadan is a commandment from Allah, and shouldn't be ignored by any Muslim. Those who decide to go against Allah and not follow this commandment given by him are committing a big sin and will be punished on the day of judgement. Fasting is the act of abstaining from feeding the body in order to focus more on fully seeking God’s love and trust and feeding the spirit. Every day during the month of Ramadan, Muslims around the world get up before dawn to eat the Suhoor meal and perform the Fajr prayer. They break their fast when the sunset is due. Muslims also pay Zakaat during the month. Also, Muslims prepare special foods and buy gifts for their family and friends and for giving to the poor and needy who cannot afford it, this can involve buying new clothes, shoes and other items of need.
People who do not have to fast ?
If he can not to fast or hard it was to fast for the aging did not have to fast, but he needs to give to the poor for each day tide of food. With thirst (which is of thirst can not afford a lot and was difficult for him to thirst) do not have to fast and needed to give the tide instead of every day of food to the poor as over cooked, and he needs to spend his death that enables later. Should not a woman is pregnant or breastfeeding women fasting month of Ramadan if harmful to pregnancy or breastfeeding, as well as she does not have the judiciary that the situation continues to the next Ramadan, but they must for every day I did not fast, giving the debtor of the food to the poor ransom, the first for breakfast and the second for not the judiciary.
Finally, we believe that Ramadan is the month of competition where Muslims try to devote themselves and time to Allah by doing their prayers and reading Quran. Ramadan is the month Muslims like the most.
