You are encouraged to use this blog as a place to keep notes, to present your ideas and opinions, or to start a discussion about a topic that you find interesting or important.

Here is the most important 'Rule, No. 1' of writing:

If you write too little, you don't get any noticeable benefits!

But ... and here's the happy part of 'Rule No. 1' ... the more you write, the more your writing improves! This is because the more you write, the more comfortable you become in writing in English, and when you get more comfortable, you can then concentrate more on improving your specific writing skills such as paying attention to word choices you make, to the development of an idea, as well as to grammar and syntax. The best way to get a deeper understanding of a language is to learn the complexities and the flexibilities of that language through the writing process.
