my weekend

You know I was in Universal Studios yesterday. As we talked in the class, I will write about my trip. - Did you notice that I use subordinating clause? - And also I will write about our trip to Santa Monica today. First of all, I really love Universal Studios! It was amazing place but I wish we had more time. I think they didn’t give us enough time. Actually it was very big place so that was the reason that the time wasn’t enough for us. Here is a photo with Simpsons :)

    The most enjoying thing was “The Mummy Ride’. It was very nice ride but it was also scaring. The photo which was taken in ride was really funny I would like to buy but it was so expensive. – you know student salary is not very high – I also like Jurassic Park so much. We got wet a lot but it was amazing ride too. You’re falling from a very high place and it was terrifying! But I had fun. So my Saturday was very entertaining.

And today morning, I woke up with sound of rain. I thought I was still in a dream so I slept again but after than I woke up with thunder and I understood it was raining! Actually I love rainy weathers but today we were going to the beach so I was upset. But Santa Monica wasn’t raining when we arrived there. It was windy but the weather became better after 1-2 hours. Today was a great day too, Santa Monica beach was amazing place. I really enjoyed my weekend, and because of this tight schedule, I couldn’t do blogging! So I’m doing at midnight. Anyway, see you tomorrow! Another week’s begging : MONDAY!

Last Vacation

After ten weeks of hard work during last quarter, spring 2011, we had decided travel to another city far away from Riverside. The first city came in my mind was San Francisco which is in the north of California. I selected San Francisco for many reasons. First reason, my best friend, Mohammad Bakeet, is living there. I have not seen him since 2009. He has received scholarship after his graduation, and he traveled to the United States of America to study master degree in engineering management at University of Santa Clara.

Second reason, I like to see the American heritage, so I had asked many American people where is the best city in California where I can see and feel the history and the heritage of California and its people. Then they told me San Francisco is the best one for you.

The third reason was Highway 1 that is best highway I have driven on. It has a fabulous sceneries on the its sides where you can see the pacific ocean on your lift side, and the green mountains or landscapes on your right side if are going from south to north. I drove by the great places on highway one like Pismo Beach, San Simon, Big Sur, Monterey, and Half Moon Bay.

The fourth reason was The Golden Gate Bridge. I had dreamed to visit this amazing structure since I studied transportation engineering at university.

It was a wonderful trip that I have decided to do it again, and I recommend it for all of my classmates to have trip to San Francisco with driving on highway one. Later, I will write down in more details about my spring 2011 vacation trip.

My Father

My father, a man with a great personality, who has magic words and smart ways to convince any one to the best and the best. He taught me how to deal with different characters, different situations. Therefore, He is the best father one can have. He has given me and my family a lot of sacrifices. He did a lot for us, so he gave us the best education and the best life. Not only to us, also to my grandmother. She has been living with us since my grandfather died.
He works more than 10 hours per day to provide easy and happy life for his family. He has master degree in Master of Business Administration from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He has been promoted in his company because of his initiative, hard worker, honest, and smart. He is friendly with his employees and our neighborhood.
He has been helping me since I was a child. Also when I married, he is helping me and he will forever.
He gave me the freedom to choose any field that I want to go in. Every time I have a problem, he helps me.
He is the greatest father one can have. I can not wait until September, I can not wait until that hour his plane lands LAX airport, he will come soon, I am very very happy that he will visit me in my home in Riverside. I am happy that all my family is coming soon.

The most beautiful place

I have been many places since I was born. I have been Thailand for 6 times because my aunt is there, and I have been Australia and Concordia, and many so on. I really love to travel. When you visit a different place, you can get lots of interesting experience about different culture, different view, and make different friends. In these places, I like Lijiang the most.

 Splendid landscapes, the exotic ways of the Naxi ethnic group and the precious Dongba Culture make up the unique city of Lijiang. Each year it attracts a great number of visitors from other countries, it is really worth to visite.

In many travelers' minds, Lijiang refers to the Old Town which is an essential part of the whole Lijiang City. In the 800 years from the Southern Song Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, the local governors and their subjects inhabited this city which has an advantageous geographical location not requiring a city wall. They created the famous Dongba Culture and the Naxi Ancient Music, and left a large group of unique Naxi buildings in this area. If you get a chance visite Lijiang, Dongba Culture and the Naxi Ancient Music is the two things that you shouldn't missed.

Standing at Square Street, in the center of the Old Town, you will be deeply impressed by the charming town and the locals' quiet life, much like the meandering streams that wind through the town. Please slow down your steps here, enjoy the wind through your hair smoothly.

In brief, there is many places to visite in the whole world, but I promise you Lijiang is the place that you won't regret to visite.

Free Time Activity

If you have free time, what are you doing for yourself?

Some people are surfing on the Internet or listening music. However, I think that these habits are just killing your precious time. You must do something for improving yourself. For example, in my case, I usually took pictures in Korea and collect some vintage cameras. It gave me new life style. Since I started to take pictures with film cameras, I am enjoying art museums or something like art. I became understanding what pictures or photographers want to say by photographs or pictures. I really feel and enjoy art now. Next, correcting vintage cameras also help my historical knowledge. Nowadays, I just have two vintage cameras: Minolta XE and Contax D. First one is a Japanese camera which was made in 1980’s. I could learn how Japan became the most famous country by this camera. They worked together with German Camera “Leica” which is still the top of the camera company in the world.

 Then, by Contax D which is the first SLR camera in the world helped me to understand Germany. Before World War 1, Germany had lots of famous camera companies: Kodak, Rollei, Leica, Zeiss Ikon, Ricoh, etc. Zeiss Ikon made the First SLR camera, which is called Contax S. This is the origin of DSLRs. However, after World War 2, Germany was separated. The east Germany had to improve their economy, so they made similar products of the west Germany. One of them is Contax D. “D” of Contax D means Dresden. They still used the logo of “Zeiss Ikon.” However, in the West, there was also Contax in there. Therefore, Zeiss Ikon in the East changed their name to “Pentagon” which comes from Pentaprism Contax because the West had the headquarters of Contax. Like this, I was understood the German history by my classic camera.

I Have Troubles.

I have trouble studying English ! I can't speaking and hearing English well , and my pronounce is so bad ; in addition, I lack of English vocabulary, concentration , confidence and time to study . I was always thinking about like that trouble. It bothered me ,and I was under stress. Finally ,I exploded yesterday , I wanted to release my stresses. At dinner time, I went to friend’s room , and then we went to shop to buy something to eat and drink and back to room. My friends who are Japanese and always speaking English when we talk made a lot of dishes for me, and we started to eat. While we were eating dinner , I tried conveying my feelings out of voice in English, but I can not tell my real feelings using English ,though I’m avoiding to speak Japanese, I spoke Japanese and confided my trouble at that time. He gave me an unforgettable response, “If you were satisfied about your English skills now, your English skills won’t improve anymore!!” I totally agree with him. My friends cheered me up. I shouldn’t be satisfied ,but I should have confidence ! After that , I continued to eat dinner , snacks and dessert with coke . And now, my emotion is so fresh , and I still have troubles, but I’m fine thank for my friends; moreover ,I could put on weight 2 kg !! I know that a lot of students have same troubles. If you have that ,why don’t you convey to your friends or teachers out of voice ? After that , you may feel better than before1hope that I can tell my real feelings in English next time and help people who have something troubles like me .Is there anyone who has something troubles ?

Hae Un Dae Baech

I’m glooming because my friend going to Korea beach name of “Have UN Dee”. My favorite Korea beach is have UN die so today I took a message to my friend. They are start 5am and by train. I really want to go Korea summer. I want to enjoy with my friend and Bu San (Have UN Dee). Two years ago I went to Bussan (Have UN Dee) that time I’m first time visited, but my felt was really good and amazing. Many people came to Bussan, many foreign tourists and many sightseeing. Big store looked like good, but Bussan was so expensive better than another city. Many people came to Bussan so crowded. However, many people came to Bussan because they want to meet another city people and want to drink. That situation is hunting. This mean is not animal hunting just looking for someone and drink and talk to something. That was interesting but someone has bad things, so be careful. We are playing wave Korea lend to tube. Tube was so big my friends and me we together play wave. It was really exciting. If big wave come we ready and near come to wave we enjoyed that wave. Wave was so big I don’t know why wave was big. Sometimes climatic influence, but it was so good. Sometimes really big wave come we are saying “wow this is Tsunami?” because that was really big I think. Now my lovely friend send photo they arrive to Bussan certification photo. “Oh my god!” so many people in Bussan. I’m so glooming I want to go Korea now? Ha-ha... if you guys visit to Korea you have to go there and you guys eat sea eel. That was really delicious.



The Biggest Problem in South Korea

Almost all nations have their own problems. No one can say there are no nations which have any problems. In Korea, there are many problems such as North Korea, economic problems, education, game addiction, and so on. However, I think that education problem is the biggest one. Because many people living in Korea have so many stress about education especially English. Children always study hard and adults also study hard. Every parent want that their children will get a great job and graduate S.K.Y. S.K.Y means Seoul National University, Korea University, Yonsei University which are the top 3 universities in Korea. Also, those are the most famous university in Korea. In addition, Korean had better good at English. Every company wants English ability for getting a new worker. If I am not good at English I can receive disadvantage in company, so almost Kids probably take early education to live in Korea. Almost kids receive stress from early education. I think that you know that Korea is very competition and crowded country because Korea is small country. Even you like Korea, I don’t like Korea usually. I want to live in other country. Education system is the special reason. I think that there is no solution anywhere. I mean that solution is just changing our mind and thinking. Nowadays, Korean has prejudice about education. Prejudice about education is we had better study hard. If we always have same mind and thinking Korean education system we can’t change. I want the world that I can live without studying hard. It is just my opinion and please do not misunderstand. As you know, we are students who want to learn English. My expression is not same as my thinking. It is really difficult to explain how I think and feel. Tell me how your country’s education is.

The beginning of the dream

Nowadays, 'Disney' is the name which is household all over the world.

It means the wonderful childhood for the teenagers, and a kind of missing for the adult's childhood.

It expresses our desire for a better world.

Its the beginning of the dream. The princess, prince, knight and dragon in Disney just like the one in our mind.

The most outstanding character is the Mickey Mouse. He first time appeared on the film screen in 1928 for the cartoon movie ''. And then the name 'Disney' and 'Mickey' became more and more popular among variety countries.

After that 'Minnie Mouse',  'Donald Duck', 'Daisy Duck' and many other characters appeared on the film screen, in the television and somewhere else.

The cute characters style caught everyone's eyes. With their different personalities and excellent qualities,  
continuing the people dream.

For example, Mickey Mouse stands for optimistic, open-minded and warmhearted. And he is a typical model of sunshine kids.

Minnie Mouse stands for independent, self-respect, elegance and naivety. And she is a lovely model of 'the girl next door'.

Belle stands for smart, beautiful and grace. And she is just like a intelligent polymath.

Every characters express different kinds of the beauty of human nature.

Disney accompany us growing up, and it teaches us how to become a excellent person. It also help us to keep our dream and pure quality forever.

Disney will never be complete, as long as there is imagination left in the world.

My Dream

My Dreams

Many things happen in this word and we don’t figure any meaning for it. People cannot believe it is true, but it real likes dreams.

Last night, I had a dream about my friend. The dream was almost real I can feel everything. In dream, my fringed body was covered with big towel; however, she removed the towel, and she was wearing black dress, also she was crying. Her face was very sad. It was my first time I saw her face like that. In the dream, I kept tell her "It is ok don’t be sad I am here everything going to be all right". I acted like stupid to make her smile. On the other hand, that didn’t work with her. Finally, I waked up and I was perspiring so much. I want to call her, but it was midnight.

In conclusion, I didn’t believe that it was almost real. Dreams have no meaning. Every day when I see her, I remember that sad face. No one can predict when the dreams happen. We cannot find why dreams happen, or for what reason. In my opinion, a lot of things happen in the word and we cannot know why?

My First Job

My First Job 

                 I will write about my first job and my experience .First, when I finished university on 2008, I started to search  find job ,but I didn’t find any one accept me. After that, my parents told me you should try to find job, but I didn’t accept their proposal. Next, I stayed at home for two weeks, and it was boring. Then, I began to search for a job. After two weeks, General Organization for Water Desalination company called me, and they told me that you have an appointment for the interview on next Monday. Next, I went to interview, I remember that day they asked me many questions . After one month, the company agreed to hire me,and I started my new job. Finally, I came to the U.S. to complete my education to  support the experience.

            

a great LA trip

Yesterday I went to Los Angeles with optional trip. That was amazing trip I really enjoyed it. And my cousin was with me. We had a great time. That was the first time I had a trip in LA. First we went to Olvera Street. The street was like Mexico. We liked there it was really nice place. I tried ‘churro’, a long Mexican pastry that is fried and rolled in sugar and cinnamon. After that we went to Hollywood. You have to see there if you haven’t  already. There were a lot of place that sell souvenir shops. We bought something from there. There were some people who look like celebrities on the street. People can take a photos with them. Everywhere was very crowded even little shopping places.  Then we stopped at Griffith Observatory and we took some photos there. We walked around the space exhibits inside the observatory.  Last place we visited was The Grove at Farmers Market. That was a nice place too. There were so many shopping places. I bought a book that was written by Agatha Christie. I really love her books. Then we came back to UCR. That was my amazing Saturday. How was your weekend?

The Happiness.......

Happiness is very difficult to define, because it means so many different things to different people. While some people link happiness to wealth and material success, others think it lies in emotions and loving personal relationships. Yet other think that spiritual paths, rather than either the material world or relationships with people, are the only way to true happiness.

Because people interpret happiness for themselves in so many different ways, it is difficult to give any definition that is true for everyone. However, if there are different kinds of happiness for different individuals then the first step in achieving it would be to have a degree of self-knowledge. A person needs to know who he or she is before being able to know what it is that makes him or her happy.

Of course, factors such as loving relationships, good health, the skills to earn a living and a peaceful environment all contribute to our happiness too. But this does not mean that people without these conditions cannot be happy.

Overall, I think an ability to keep clear perspectives in life is a more essential factor in achieve happiness. By that I mean an ability to have a clear sense of what is important in our lives(the welfare of our families, the quality of our relationships, making other people happy, etc.) and what is not (a problem at work, getting annoyed about trivial things, etc.).

Like self-awareness, this is also very difficult to achieve, but I think these are the two factors that may be the most important for achieving happiness.

The Dance Parties in Extension

I have been study in Extension for half a year. During these time, I had joined three dance parties in extension. To be honest, I feel amazed when I know we have dance party in school  because in China the schools are never have parties, so the students, who come from China, are very excited.

I still remember the first one that made up in the first quater. We had spent a happy time. The second one also good, but I like the third one best. Maybe because there has lots of new sttudents, so everybody seems so excited even the old students. I met my old classmates and also met my new friends, we took lots of photoes and had fun. I was going to be crazy.

This is my last quater, (I hope)I am going to go to college to study. I feel complecated because that means I will leave my friends. I always feel sad when I think about these things. These friends have ery special meaning for me because they had helped me a lot when I came here. I had spent a hard time at first, I feel lonly and homesick. These friends helpt me and make me feel I'm not alone.

My name is Hanan Al Qahtani. I am from Saudi Arabia. I am 23 years old. I have a big family, 4 brothers and one sister, but I am the oldest one. Last year I graduated from college, and my major was Interior design. When I was studying at the college, I engaged to Abdulkaream for eleven months. He is a civil engineer. Seven months ago, I married him.

            I like sports, such as swimming and roller skating. Also, I enjoy watching movies. I like traveling to see the different cultures of the other countries, so I traveled to china, France, Zurich, Vienna and other countries. Some of these countries I visited with my family and some of them with my husband.

            Now, I have come to America to study master’s degree with my husband, we are both do not want complete at the same majors. I want to study master in MBA, and he want to study engineering management. Because we think that these two will let us find a good job in the future.  Finally, I hope we finish our study quickly to go back to our country and have a good job.

Exercise at Morning

With starting this quarter, I signed up the gym in the campus
I always went to there for working out and exercise at 2:40 p.m.
But, you know what? It's too hot to go there, so I was really being annoying during the way

It made me do not want to go gym at afternoon.....
but what can I do?? I already paid for the gym, so I changed the plan.
It is the plan that go to the gym at 6:00 a.m.
because, at morning, it's not hot, it's a little bit cool~

Also, if I exercise at morning, it can reduce stress of a day, I may start a day with fresh feeling.
In addition, it can help the blood circulation in our body and make basal metabolism increase, so we can change our body type.
Then, if we exercise before having breakfast, we can use 100% calorie and fat faster then other time.

According to them, I decided to exercise at morning every weekdays because, on weekend, the gym opened at 12:00 p.m.

Anyway, even though it is not at morning, do exercise guys anytime you can,
it can be change your day and life.

Hi everyone!!!
I'm Min  My introduction is so late because I took a moved up test , so I changed the class

I 'm so glad to that I could change my class !!

My name is Minhye Shin  but my name pronunciation is a little hard to you so please call me "Min"

It is easy to call me , right??  I 'm from South Korea. I lived in Bundang which is close to Seoul.

Bundang is a small town but it has very convenience public transportation. so If  I wanna go to

somewhere which is in Seoul, I can go there easily. Therefore, When I arrived here, I was very surprised.

Because in USA If we don't have a car, it is very uncomfortable to go to another city except Newyork, San francisco.

Anyway I had never visited in USA before I came here . it was first time ! , so I am very excited.

In Korea, My major is Korean Literature and sub major is Economy.

Two majors are very different but I love my majors. Next year, in spring I have to go back to my University.

The reason that I came here is studying English. I want to speak fluency, listen exactly.

Actually, I wanna go back to my hometown. Because it's first time that I live in another country

without my family and friends, so I really miss my family. However, I can overcome homesickness !!

DANCING !!

Hi !!　Everyone　!!

     First of all , I have to be sorry to teacher Reza about sleeping in the class today's morning .

I'm so regret , if I was you, I'm very sad......,and also I want to say sorry to friends in the class 512

, I displeased you.  Anyway, I'll be cheerful tomorrow !!

     

     By the way, today , I went to recreation center to take dance lesson after class !

It was so exciting and nice opportunity to talk with UCR students .

There were over 20 people who is almost UCR students , and they are very kind and taught me

to dance very politely .  Today's lesson was girls HIP HOP , but instructor was a man . Dancing

him look like girl !! His dance is amazing !! The lesson was so difficult ; in addition to song was too

fast tempo , I couldn't remember and move fast !! That lessons are once a week, so I'll go there

every time , if my schedule is empty ,  and it' s is good exercise  for me. Actually, I was  very tired

, but I'm satisfy to do dancing , because I was looking for the place where I can dance since I

came here , so I'm very happy !! Did you find something happiness in here , and what is that ??  


     OK!! I have to do my homework and study for tomorrow's test !!!!!!!

The Imagination of My Life: Dreams come true.

We don't know everything what will happen in the future; for example, war, job, family, changing, world, and so on. However, everybody has dreams or plans. What are your plans for the future? Here is my dream. I will be in United States. Also, I will be a person who is really good at English. I will be a good student at university in United States. I will get undergraduate degree in United States and study about business. After that, I will prepare getting a job in United States. After getting a job, I will have a relationship with a girlfriend for marriage. She is an American. Her personality and appearance is similar to my ideal type. She is beautiful, kind, and sexy, and she always thinks about me. Do you also want this?? Don’t tell a lie guys~ I think everyone who is a man is all same. In addition, she will not be a selfish person. I really hate a selfish person. That kind of person is my pet peeves. However, my personality will be different from now. Now, I am honest, positive, and passionate. I mean that differences are better than now. I will be honest, positive, and passionate. In addition, I will be smart, diligent, attentive and friendly. You can think that I am smart, diligent, attentive and friendly now. However, I am not smart and not diligent. I don’t like studying sometimes. Does anyone like study?? Moreover, I will try to get a license to teach skiing in United States. My favorite sport is skiing. Getting license is just my hope. I don’t want to teach ski every years. After getting a license, I can feel other kind of accomplishment. A few years later, I will go back to Korea and bring my Korean family to United States and we will try to live in a better life than before. So far these are my imagination of my life. What a nice dream! Isn’t it? If someone has an opinion, say anything! Let’s have a big dream!

Hey ~ guys how was today? So far so good? How was you guys weekend?

I was really good because I went to Korea spa in LA. There are so good.

Spa name of wi spa there are came to American or another country people came to there. On Saturday, I started at 10:45 pm. I arrived at 12:00 am. They get night time fee that was little bit made sad to me if I early started I didn’t pay fee, but I was feeling so good because I came for a long time there, so I felt happy.

I took a shower and I go up to spa and I go to small restaurant. They are selling the Korea food. I was really Miss Korea food. I always made the Korea food, but there are difference my food. Ha-ha However, I didn’t eat many because I was on a diet I couldn’t eat more and more, so I ate one spoon. And I enjoyed to spa and talked with my friends. My weekend was so good. I never forgot Korea spa. When I went wi-spa I want to go Korea and really miss my family.

 Let me introduce about me !! My  name is YOSHI . I'm 20 years old. First,I'm from Osaka in Japan , there is second big city in Japan , first is Tokyo . At first ,Osaka is little bit noisy because there are a lot of fashion streets, club , young people , people who come here to sightseeing from another countries . People from Osaka usually speak "Osakaben" it's one of direct in Japan . Sometimes Osakaben is felt strong and cold by peole except Osaka people . In Osaka , famous foods are Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki . YOU SHOULD EAT IF YOU COME TO MY HOMETOWN !

 Second , I'm now University student in Japan . My major is business . Now, in my country, English is indispensable to get job , and I really like to go foreign countries, so I came here by myself to study English , but I can stay here only a year because I go back to Japan and have to graduate from University . Actually, I had had part time job for 5 years to earn money ,come here and study English , so I want to be valuable this opportunity to study !

 Third, I usually dance in my University or dance studio with my team and instructor in Japan, and now I sometimes dance in back yard of IV or my room . And can you believe that ? I'm really really eat a lot !!
I want to get on weight , but it't not easy for me , becouse of genetics I can't get fat ! I already gave up to put on weight ...

 At last , I promise that I'll never absent and late the class like last quarter !!

This is Saleh Alhenaki, I am 24 years old, I came from Saudi Arabia, and I graduated from King Saud University which one of the best universities in my country , my major was (Media-Public Relations) . In these days  I am doing the English in U.C.R in California-Riverside, and really I feel that  I am improving in English language  day by day. Actually, before when I came here I tried to apply to get job but I surprised that most of companies put “speaking English” one of the first requirements to get the job, after that I realized that when you learned English then you can speak with whole world. I have the option  to do my master degree in any country  but  I  choose  USA due the dynamic  and practical way of study. I got this impression from several relatives who is studied in USA including my father. Overall, I hope all my wishes come true and I get my master to make my family proud of me.

I really would like to introduce my city Jeddah. The weather is smaller to the cities who locate on the coast. Usually the weather is very hot and humid; on the other hand, Jeddah has the second beautiful sea in the word. It name Red Sea the reason for the name because from the airplane the sea color change to red. It is another amazing word especially for people who love to discover new things. I'm just a high school student now. Sometimes, I just think the future is really far for me but I never stop making a plan for my future. I may choose a comfortable job in the future.

Um, my free time activities.I think they are casual such as reading novels, going abroad and something else. I'd like to spend my free time in a kind of peace and quiet environment. I love enjoy my life and time in a comfortable way.

 Hi guys,

 My name is Hyun-Yong Yoon. I know it's hard to pronounce, so you can call me "Yong." I'm from Seoul, Korea. Oh, you don't know this city?? It is a kind of big city like New York. However, it has some difference. In Seoul, there are many buildings, but they look like same as matchboxes. In addition, the river, named "Han Riv.", goes through the city, and there are some mountains in the city.

 I was a university student, and my major was electronic engineering. It was too hard and boring to me. I sometimes thought that it didn't fit on me, but what could I do?? I already chose and will be a junior when I go back to university. I'm going to study it and try to get Ph.D if my grade can be ungraded.

 In my free time, I usually took pictures with film cameras in Korea. However in US, it is hard to buy my favorite films. Therefore, I bought a skateboard to play at my free time. It is not easy as I thought. It's too hard to trick, so I practice it everyday. Actually, i haven't been playing it because, you know, it's too hot to go out.

Hey guys, my name is Mengqi Li, you can call me Angel. First of all, I am apologize of my absent, it makes you guys have to stop your steps.

I'm a Chinese girl. My hometown is very close of Tibet which is names Kunming. Kunming is located on the southwest of China, so it is not near the sea but the mountain. The people who lives in Kunming can be described by passion. They are friendly and honestly, they always treat people in a good way. The most special thing in my hometown is the weather. The weather in Kunming is always feel comfortable. It always in spring and has lots of flowers, so Kunming has another name, "The spring city". There has thousands of tourist visit my hometown during the vacation. I hope you guys can visit my hometown someday.

For now, I am graduated from my high school and study in UCR extension. I am gonna apply a community college here then translate to an university. I will finish my hole study life in America.

I like listening music in my space time. I love music at all, it can makes me calm down. I cannot live without music. I have tried to listen many kinds of music, I always listen different style of music, R&M, blue, jazz, rock or classical. I also like take picture. I love to record everything happend in my life in this way. Moreover, I like to explor the beauty of the nature. I took lots of pictures for flowers, tees, the sky and sunshine.

I'm Abdulkareem Alqahtani from Saudi Arabia. I was born in Abha city which is in the southern west region of Saudi Arabia. Moreover, Abha city is called The Bride city of the gulf countries' cities because it is has a cold weather during the summer. It has fabulous sceneries, landscape and green mountains. In addition, in the winter season, it is very cold, but the residents of Abha city go to the coast, 70 miles from Abha, which is warm in winter season. On the other hand, I had studied in Abha city till I joined King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals which is in Dhahran city. Then, I graduated in Jan 2008, as a civil engineer. I have 3 years experience at construction companies as a field engineer where I learnt a lot of skills and abilities. Finally, I have married since I found my soul mate.

     My name is Hanan Al.Qahtani. I am from Dammam, Saudi Arabia. It is a very big industrial city in my country, and it has the biggest oil company in Saudi Arabia. Dammam has a very hot  weather which is similar to Riverside, moreover; it is a humid weather. In addition, it is a very beautiful city that has a long waterfront and a lot of interesting places.
     I am the oldest child in my family. I have one sister and four brothers. I miss them so much. I got married before eight months to Abdulkaream. He is the kindness person in the world.
     I graduated last year from King Faisal University, and my major is Interior Design. It was very hard and interesting at the same time. I came to America to learn and improve my English. After that, I will attend university here in USA to study a master degree in MBA.
     I like to draw, go shopping, and read magazines, but the most thing I like is travelling around the world.

Here is my introduction. My name is Eric and this is my English name. My Korean name is Son,Young Ik. You can call me TALL Eric or just Eric. If you saw me at least once, you can figure it out my height. My height is 189cm. I am from Seoul, South Korea. I was born on April 9th,1987. Actually, my hometown is Youngwol,Gangwondo which is located in east side of Korea. In my hometown, there is a river. River rafting is popular in my hometown.

This is my first quarter. In addition, this is also my first visiting America. I was a university student in my country and a junior. However, the purpose coming here is to get a undergraduate degree for my future. My major was IT, information&tellecommunication. However, I will change my major to Business. I am not sure yet but I am pretty sure. I will stay here for 4 years or 5 years.

I usually read a news on internet. My favorite part is sports. I like almost all kind of sports such as baseball, basketball, and soccer. However, in winter, I often go skiing ! Skiing is my favorite sport. When i was in my Univ. in Korea I was in Korea University Ski Association, KUSTA. I have been skiing for over 10 years. I can skiing pretty well but don't believe too much.

After I finish studying English language, I want to go to university to study Master degree in Engineering Technology. In my spare time, I like watching movies. This is because the more you write, the more comfortable you become in writing in English, and when you get more comfortable, you can then concentrate more on improving your specific writing skills such as paying attention to word choices you make, to the development of an idea, as well as to grammar and syntax. The best way to get a deeper understanding of a language is to learn the complexities and the flexibilities of that language through the writing process.
